This tutorial was nit very good but only because you instructed on how to pipe the flowers in detail but your camera angle dis not allow us to see what you were doing from a top angle and it was far away. I love your roses but was unable to view as you went along.

My sister-in-law used to do wedding cakes. She made her icing out of Crisco, powdered sugar, and a touch of vanilla extract. Lol this was back when decorators made simple icing flowers and there was a bride and groom figurine on the top layer of cake.

If you keep turning the pastry a quarter turn and only roll in one direction (forwards) you get a circular shape and less waste from trimming.

Butter pie crust WILL catch your oven on fire 🔥 how do I know? Because I make this pie crust every year. WARNING DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM YOUR OVEN. HAVE FIRE EXTINGUISHER NEAR BY, seriously folks. On another note; this crust collapses if you don't have filling in it. If you're trying to make a custard pie where you need to prebake the crust, this isn't the one to use.

Food processor is much easier to incorporate the butter. Your butter chunks are way too big.
